Product properties: Triglycidyl Isocyanurate (TGIC) is an isocyanurate based crystalline polyepox-ide compound, it has better heat resistance, weather resistance, adhesion and excellent high temperature stability. It is mainly used for the curing agent, insulating laminate sheet, adhesive, plastic stabilizer and so on.

The harden principle of polyester-TGIC powder coating is the ring opening polymerization by carboxyl-containing polyester resin and TGIC glycidyl to form cross-linking film. During the process of Polyester powder coating’s curing to film, no volatile matter, so polyester -TGIC powder coatings can form thick coating without cells. 2Polyester-TGIC powder coating
Carboxyl-containing polyester resin can be used with the maximum amount 10% of the TGIC for cross-linking curing, the combination by carboxyl-containing polyester resin and a certain percentage of TGIC is defined as Polyester-TGIC powder coating. The performance of film depends on the type of polyester, additives, pigment fillers and the technology during the process.
 
3Technology of Polyester-TGIC powder coating
Production facilities for polyester coating is similar to epoxy coating, and the process of technology is firstly crashed the two resins into 20-60 mesh, add the ingredients by specific proportion into high-speed mixer with 5 to 15 minutes, then move the material to type SLG-50A double screw extruder for mixing, entrance of the extruder 60-80℃, the exit is 110-120℃, cool them off, reenter the crushing screen(grinding ACM) crushed materials sieve by grade, particle size above 180 mesh will pass 100%, through the check of qualified packing, number, storage, the whole process ended. Polyester powder coating production process can be divided into the following steps: Resin coarse crushing - ingredients - Pre-mixed - melt mixing - Cooling - fine crushing - rating Filter - inspection – put into package – set serial number - packing - storage.
