At the afternoon of April 2, Ningbo University and Zhihua Chemical R&D Center hold the cooperative signature ceremony in college of material science & chemical engineering. At the cermony, Mr. Pengjun, vice director of cooperation department introduced the recent information of the university and Industry-Academia-Research typical case; then secretary of college Mr. Wang Dongjie and chairman of Zhihua Chemical Mr. Xia Zhizhong, vice president Liu Cincai, Vice presideng of the college Shao Yanhong, discussed and exchanged the views in the field of cooperation between science & research, students' capacity training and other fields. Finally, the two parties signed on the cooperative agreement. Director of the R&D center Vice pro. Hou Linxi, vice director Mr. Chen Leiguang, and the students of the college took place in the signature ceremony.
The term of the agreemnt is 5 years, with aim to bulid “Ningbo University—Zhihua Chemical daily-chemical additives R&D Center”, develop the product suit to the market. The two parties rely on industrializations of bactericide TCC and powder coating additive, communicate with each other on technology, tackle the key research project, break foreign technical trade barriers, start cooperation to carry out in-depth, devote together to the local and regional economic development.
At the ceremony, at the same time the two parties launched the practice base for students of Ningbo university to Zhihua Chemical, of the first term 4 junior students entered into the practice base, in premise of regular education, explore a traing method of practice--graduation practice--graduation thesis, aim to strengthen practice, the implementation of practice, thesis out of the ivory tower but close to enterprise diffculties, strengthen the practice ability.

The establishment of Ningbo University---Zhihua Chgemical R&D Center has significance to accelerate the research on powder coating additives and daily-care bactericide, provide a good plant for the college’s science research, also it gives a new idea of developing ordered-student traing in contemporary education.
